After User has deleted a form instance could that form be archived for a period of time to allow for reinstatement?

Scenario

User/Admin deletes (either intentionally or accidentally) a form instance via Forms Inbox/Forms Admin. The record of this form is now deleted forever. Would assist with finding out whether a form was ever entered. Currently there is no log in the background that tells us if one was
