A customer (DB 2593) is currently reviewing opportunities to streamline and automate their General Ledger (GL) process as part of a finance system upgrade and has asked whether the following capabilities are available within Affinity:

Automated GL Export to SFTP

Currently, the GL is generated through the GL module, saved locally, and then manually uploaded into their finance system.

They would like to know whether Affinity can automatically generate and deliver the GL export to a designated SFTP location for retrieval by their finance system.

Automated Journal Processing

Currently, journal processing is initiated manually.

They would like to know whether Affinity can automatically generate and process journals based on predefined accounting month-end or period-end dates.

Could the team please review and advise:

Whether either of these capabilities currently exist.

Whether they would require configuration, custom development, or an enhancement.

Any potential solutions or roadmap items that may be relevant.
